Anyone know of pretty flowers or other plants that are easy to grow (indoors) from seeds?
November 30th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I think for Valentine’s Day I want to paint a little gardening pot for my boyfriend and fill it with dry soil and some pre-planted seeds.
No CommentsI want it to be already constructed for him, he just has to give it water and sunshine.
But I’m not sure what kind of seeds to use. I want something fast growing, fairly resilient, and uh, pretty.
no chia pet.
thanks for the help info advice support etc etc

Does the jatropha plant grow and reproduce itself in the tropics, and how can I get some seeds to plant these?
November 6th, 2009 Posted by: admin
Hi, I would like to know if the jatropha plant can be cultivated in a warm climate, such as in the tropics, and if it does reproduce seeds. Where can I buy these seeds on the internet, and if by any chance anyone does know which ingredient of the seeds does make it possible for it to be converted to bio-diesel.

Mimosa Tree?
October 24th, 2009 Posted by: admin
Ok I want to plant a mimosa tree in my yard and my friend has a sprout to give me, but I don’t have the area ready to plant it in yet. Can I get the sprout started in a pot then when ready transplant it?? I have never grown a mimosa tree before so I am not sure the best way to go about starting it out. She also said she can get me seeds. Would that be better/easier than a starter plant.. Thanks for the help/comments!!!

Making Perennials Grow?
October 16th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I have a yard that’s 2.5 lots. Our house is right in the middle leaving a large front yard.
I’m wanting to plant Perennials. We’re near Dallas, Tx so they will have to be able to stand up to our freak storms and searing heat.
I’m looking at Thyme bushes on Amazon and Lavender. How do i start of with these? Do i start growing them in a plant pot or do i just put them in the ground? I’m new to gardening and don’t want a professional as that costs. I’m just trying to obtain information before i do this because i am so desperate to make our front area look pretty for once. The little packs of seeds at wal-mart, do they work? Who’s a good company to buy from? On Amazon i’m looking at Park Seed and they are all beautiful but i don’t want to buy something that won’t work in our conditions.
If you could kindly offer some advice and help i’d greatly appreciate it. I love flowers but unfortunatly just didn’t inherit the families greenthumbs but so want my yard flowery pretty.
Thank you

What kind of tree is this?
October 1st, 2009 Posted by: admin
I want to use this tree as a bonsai, but I’m not sure it will survive in a pot. I get a bunch of seeds from this tree every year
