Is there an inexpensive, yet efficient air filtration system that can eliminate cigarette smoke in my home?

My roommate smokes like a chimney. I worry about my children having to breathe the second-hand smoke. It seems there are a lot of different machines on the market that really don’t “purify” the air as they claim.

Okay, i really enjoy smoking. It gives me a break from my family and all the other stressful things going on in my life. I hardly ever smoke (compared to most smokers) like, 10 times at the absolute most a month. My girlfriend smoked almost everyday all last summer and partied every week. Her last boyfriend ended up turning into a huge pot head and became a dealer. He changed a lot according to her and after that she stopped smoking for the most part (this is all very recent). So then I started dating her and she was drug free as was i but as winter approached I found that smoking made the winter go by a little better (last year i was a wreck). So now she is afraid that the same thing that happened to her last boyfriend will happen again. She is really trying to get me to stop smoking but the worst part is, is that after all she has said about how much she doesn’t want me to smoke, she has been out with other guys during school and smoked and been with friends while i was grounded and has smoked. Not to mention she also has done ad-der-ral (spelling?!) during school just for fun a few times. AND she is perfectly fine with drinking. Is there any way to make her think differently about smoking? because there is no reason for her to be upset over weed and not over drinking/pills/ect. weed is non addictive, not as personality changing as drinking, and not as brutal on the body as pills. Please give some advice, i need it, i really love her… DX

Last saturday i was drinking in a party and i had about 3 shots of Vodka, 1 beer, n 3 cups of cranberry with vodka, then like 3 hours after drinking i somed 2 blunts. . . it got me really sick i was throwing up, i passed out, and also i felt like i was paranoid and had a huge headache . . .is it bad to mix like that?

I know there are a million types of pots and pans, we want to buy a good set to last us years, what kind do we get? Non-stick? Cast Iron? Brands?

Decided to buy a plant of Basil for my sandwiches. How often do I water it and should it be by the sun?

I am a vegeterian and eat a lot of Morzzarela sandwiches. Loved to included Basil. I bought the plant but I do not know if I should water it oftern, shoudl it be by the sun. Do I transsplanted to a bigger pot. Please help

I recently moved and went thru all my stuff and there is a lot that I dont need anymore. I thought about selling it on craigslist, but its taking up a lot of space. I have: dishes, standing fan, blanket, a big box of clothes, pots and pans. Will they take any of this stuff?

I’ve been reading about all the benefits of grapefruit seed extract. Couldn’t one just eat the seeds?

My friend has been urging me to use grapefruit seed extract for my chronic fatigue. I decided to read up on it, and it DOES sound like it could benefit me in a lot of other ways as well. I was going to order some, but the type she recommended (triple strength Liquid Gold) is a little pricey for me. I was wondering what’s so special about this extract, and if I couldn’t get the same effects from just eating lots of whole grapefruit seeds.

…but was a pretty heavy smoker and am planning to keep clean until the test. I am 5′11″ and weigh about 160 lbs–not much body fat and have pretty fast metabolism.
21 CommentsThere is a lot of info out there, but I don’t know what to trust. Heard everything from pickle juice to water to hopelessness. Let me re-iterate, I NEED to pass this test, so don’t bother answering with self-righteous comments like “Don’t do drugs”: I did ‘em and I need a way to pass: I don’t need your life lessons. I just need to know a concrete and reliable way to pass a URINE test which will most likely test for THC. Please send me any ideas you may have. Thank you so much!!!
