Attention Wifey’s. which flowers can i plant in Aug?

What will grow the best right now? I live in CT. I would consider buying potted ones & not transplant this year if i have to, and keep them indoors for the winter. i was also wondering about planting mums since they are hardy and last thru a frost… but will they grow in AUGUST in new england? I’m 20, i never owned a house before so i never got the chance to garden. now i really wanna step it up. any ideas??

What is the best way to care for a cymbidium orchid?

I live in Northern Indiana, and I bought my wife a potted cymbidium back in february. The flowers are now gone, and since them i have just been watering it and waiting. What are my options now? Can i transport it outside? Should I just take the entire pot outside? I have never really dealt with this before, so any suggestions would be very helpful! Thanks in advance!

How can I stop my grandmothers garden from dying?

I am responsible for maintaining my grandmothers LARGE garden for the next week. She left one day ago and already some of the flowers look like they’re dying.

A few of them appear to droop and look to be curling up and hardening. I believe she watered them before she left and I watered them again in the evening. The next morning I watered them, then watered them again in the evening. The temperatures been around 90 degrees and about half of the plants are hanging on pots above the fence while the others are in the ground.

The garden is about three feet wide but goes all around the perimiter of the yard and there is a ton of stuff. I usually run the water right where the plants roots are for about ten seconds then move to the next plant, the whole routine usually takes me 45minutes. Unfortunetly these plants aren’t looking too good and she will be very disappointed if she returns home to dead plants.

Any tips on how I can keep them alive?

I am growing tulips indoors in a pot. As soon as the flowers bloomed, they started drying up and wilting?

My red tulips are dried and wilted before they even fully bloom. Could it be too hot in my room? I do have the heat on.

Potatoe growers?

I through some old potatoes in a flower pot covered with dirt a few weeks ago. Some interesting plants have broke the soil. How long until I plant them into the grown and how long until harvest?

I have a jasmine (indian variety also called Mogra) that does not produce any petals?

It blooms in summer (in New Jersey) but the buds are just the outer green leafy petal coverings, with no white fragrant petals inside. I put miracle grow changed soil etc but no change. There are so many buds (without any petals) but no flowers.
I finally planted the plant in the ground from the pot and got a couple of buds with petals. What do I need to do to get a normal bloom on this nice fragrant jasmine plant?

Equation 1: Rodger sold 8 vegetable and 4 flowers for $16.40
Equation 2: Jeremy sold 16 vegetables and 2 flowers for $ 23.80
How much did each vegetable pot and each flower pot cost?
