What is the fastest way to clean lots of eating utensils (steelware)?

My roomates never do their dishes, and I was wondering if there’s a fast and easy way just to put all the steelware into something and get them clean.

Could I just dump everything into a pot of boiling water?

(We don’t have a dishwasher)

Chinese Evergreen Care and Change in Color?

I have a two year old Chinese Evergreen that was horribly pot bound and full of sand when I got it as a gift. I have carefully over the years removed the sand and split the plant into three seperate planters. It is growing wonderfully and besides the dead leaf here and there NO real issues. However, over the last year the plant’s colors have changed. I notice that it is a healthy green but nowhere near as dark as when i recieved it AND the centers of the leaves have turned to a gorgeous light green jade like color. I love the way they look but I’m worried that this type of change isn’t supposed to happen. What can you tell me about it? Have yours changed the same way
I wanted to add to say:

they get plenty of sunlight
The temperature in the house is kept stable
they have tons of water ( I know they shouldnt be allowed to dry out)
their soil is aerated and kept fertilized
and…I keep their leaves clean of aphids by allowing LOTS of ladybugs into my home….

Cast Iron Cookware?

I recently purchased my first piece of cast iron cookware. So far, I really like it. My husband says he thinks it is unsanitary since it is not washed with soap. I have a baking stone that works the same way. I don’t seem to have a problem with it. Is it really unsanitary??

Also, if I cook with strong flavored ingredients ( onion, garlic, etc ) will the pan take on the flavor of these strong ingredients?
I’ve heard that tomato based cooking should be avoided because of the acid of the tomatoes. True?

Should the United States Legalize Marijuana?

ok first of all..i think this would help our economy out..i mean the only reason the government wont legalize it is because they can’t put a tax on it because you can grow your own..but people can grow their own beer.. and people can grow their own tobacco..even though its probably a longer process..but still if the government legalizes marijuana they can tax it which leads to another item on the market and since soo many people smoke it, it would bring in loads of money and maybe offer more jobs…to me this seems like a solution to our declining economy.
let me hear what you have to say.
for the sheltered answerer below me..
people grow barley and hops in fields which are an ingredient in alcohol.
good call tho.
i pretty much agree with everyone on here except the inconsiderate people who dont understand anything…people make weed wayy too big of a deal.

And for the Marijuana myth..its completely ridiculous. How can you sit here and tell me that its gonna make yur kids make stupid decisions, become fat, and become unsuccessful.
i have smoked weed..i can say that i have kept straight a’s and a good head on my shoulders.. hows that unsuccessful? thanks for yalls time and opinions..
who grows the ingredients and doesnt make the beer? that would be effin pointless..thanks for your stupidity
