Could pot help me get over my social inhibitions?

My girlfriend is pretty much the only person I’m comfortable around, and she wants to help me be more comfortable around other people, because I’ll never be happy if I can’t function in public. She says I should smoke pot with her, and that will make me more comfortable with who I am.

Wedding flowers: wrought iron planter?

My original florist for my wedding showed me a picture of this wrought iron “structure” (for lack of a better word) that she used to hang vines and flowers off of at this wedding she did. They used it to line the aisles of the ceremony.

Well she bailed on me, and I’m trying to recreate it, but have NO idea how to find such a structure, so I’m thinking maybe using an iron wine rack or two - like this: http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=14929886 that I could hang vines and flowers on.

Has anyone done anything similar for their wedding? If so, any pictures?
yes I think it was something like a sheppards hook, but much shorter, maybe like 4 to 5 feet tall.

Regardless, what do you think of the wine rack idea - what could we do with it?

Does she like me?

She does stuff like:

Stares at me

When we are on the bus she sits across from me and sits with her legs crossed and pointed at me.

She writes on my backpack all the time(its covered with her writing). She also wrote on every page of the signature part of the yearbook i got last year with “(Her name) was here!” and stuff like that.

She always tells me that I should smoke pot(She smokes a LOT) and recently I did smoke for the first time. I dont feel good about it.

I asked her if she liked me before and she said “kinda sorta maybe”. But the next day and everyday after that she acted like nothing happened that day.

Question about disposable/one use aluminum pans?

Today I was hoping to make a steamed cheesecake, which requires me to set the cheesecake in a roasting pan and add boiling water. I have no springform pan and no roasting pan (and not much money!), so I was considering using the disposable aluminum ones. However, I’m concerned it’s not going to work. Does anyone know???

How do I save my Bamboo plant?

I bought a sort of bamboo bush that had no care guide. I re-potted in in beginner soil from the garden centre and in a much larger container. However recently all the outer stems and leaves have gone yellow. The soil is moist yet not water logged. What am I doing wrong ???

Got an idea for a visual pun?

I still haven’t decided what my costume will be this year. The most unforgettable costumes I’ve seen were a dinosaur, sailor Mars (from the show Sailor Moon), pants ( a guy dressed up as giant pants), and a pot head ( a guy wearing a pot on his head, the pot was labeled pot). I think the last one is my favorite, and Sailor Mars is really cute, so anyway, anybody have any ideas for visual puns I can turn into a costume (like pot head)?

Ideas for wedding centerpieces without glass or candles?

I am getting married on a riverboat, so I can’t have glass items or candles. I am looking for any ideas that could be un-expensive (I’m spending plenty on this wedding already!) I will need 12 altogether. My best idea so far is orchids of different colors, in plastic pots ( My flower is purple orchids, it would be tough to match it) Thank you =)

Why do people think the only type of addictions people have are to things like booze or drugs?

There are lots of things that people can get addicted to, besides booze and/or drugs. Why do people discount other types of addictions? What other type of addictions do you think there are?

This is a serious question - I’m not being flipant about this.
The reson for this question is that people don’t understand the physical aspects of addiction to things like gambling or shopping. It may sound like a dumb thing - you just don’t do it - but it’s not as easy as that.

How long do I have to cook an 8lb pork roast ?
