What is POT?

Okay so all my life I have been very susceptible to saying yes to people. I went through a lot of drugs and God has saved me, but my friend just came over (an older friend that knows the family…) and expected me to smoke pot with her. So I did (along with presc. pills…) for two days and she just left and I want to tell her I don’t want to do that anymore. I just feel convicted and religious reasons aside, I just felt dumb.

But how do I do this? I was thinking about just sending her a myspace message and explaining that I don’t want to (but am still her friend…) but I feel like maybe I should wait until she offers to tell her no? Would that be braver and would I learn how to say no better? Or is that dumb to wait?
And regardless, how can I learn to stand up for myself! I’m serious I’ve gotten a dumb tattoo, done a lot of drugs and had *** because I can’t stand up for myself. i had a sort of rough childhood. Any sites/books/tips?

It is also the melting pot of people around the world which is awesome because you can meet anyone from around the world.
It is also 2 hours away from scenic San Diego and 6 hours away from scenic San Francisco. And if you want to leave the country, theres mexico two hours away.

It is also one of the safest cities in America today. This is not the same LA of 15 years ago. Of course you still want to avoid certain areas aka compton and southcentral LA at 3 am.

No, Jessica, I didn’t mean what you think I did. Certainly, I know it’s possible in theory, however, what I’m really ansking is if I can make it through college without doing drugs and also have decent time. Basically, will I be discriminated for not doing drugs or hazing on other people? Will my rejection to drugs be socially acceptable by my future peers?
